Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets, recipes, and food abbreviations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and take directions
- Basic math skills with ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred
- Previous restaurant experience on grill station preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets, recipes, and food abbreviations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and take directions
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Responsible for preparing food for the stand including grilling, frying, prepping
- Responsible for following Health Code standards and HACCP
- Perform end of shift duties including cleaning back of house area and assisting stand attendants if needed
- Prepare food and burgers to specifications before and during unit operations
- Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
- Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly
- Ensure freshness and quality of all menu items and package all products to proper specifications
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties including end-of-day inventory in accordance with company checklists and procedures
- Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on spoilage sheet
- Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production
- Set up and operate kitchen equipment
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and management
