Job Requirements
- At least one year of previous experience in foodservice
- Ability to read and comprehend recipes and prep sheets
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity to prepare food
- Ability to stand and walk entire shift
- Ability to work in hot and variable temperature environment
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
- Preferred previous restaurant grill station experience
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets, recipes, and food abbreviations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and work as a team player
- Basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Prepare food for the stand including grilling, frying, prepping
- Follow health code standards and HACCP
- Perform end of shift cleaning and assist stand attendants
- Prepare food and burgers to specifications during operations
- Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and department policies
- Maintain proper food temperatures and correct food storage
- Ensure freshness and quality of menu items and package products properly
- Perform opening, closing, side work duties, end-of-day inventory according to procedures
- Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked
- Use waste control guidelines and record waste on spoilage sheet
- Follow supervisor assignments for opening, closing, and food production
- Set up and operate kitchen equipment
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and management
