Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous secretarial experience required
- Word processing experience required
- Ability to work independently and organize workload
- Good judgment skills
- General office skills including telephone and office machine proficiency
- Ability to manage stress in a high-demand environment
- Able to work 10-hour shifts with occasional weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Associates Degree preferred
- Previous secretarial experience
- Previous hospital staffing experience preferred
- Word processing experience
- Excel, Access, or other database experience preferred
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, organize workload, prioritize and use good judgement
- General office skills including handling heavy telephone traffic and working with frequent interruptions
- Proficient in using copiers, fax machines, and other general office machines
- Ability to manage stress well in a high-demand position

Job Duties
- Perform daily staffing functions for all assigned units in collaboration with unit Clinical Manager, Clinical Nurse Supervisor or designees
- Be charged with the master scheduling process for all assigned units
- Be accountable for the maintenance of the registry / traveler credentialing process
- Be responsible for unit placement of registry staff
- Assist with secretarial, clerical and receptionist support for the Clinical Support Services Department
- Maintain lines of communication while maintaining confidentiality of patient and employee information
- Work under direct supervision of Staffing Supervisor
- Demonstrate and role model the NorthBay Way principles of Caring, Communication, Collaboration, and Competence
