Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
12 months experience in shipping and receiving
ability to perform basic math functions
read and understand written materials
use correct grammatical structure and vocabulary
basic word processing skills
ability to build rapport with customers and work team
basic computer skills including generating word documents, editing excel files, processing emails
valid Oklahoma driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days
forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
physical perseverance for fast-paced and demanding tasks
ability to handle greasy materials and walk on slippery floors
frequent repetitive arm and wrist movement
exposure to chemicals and odors
ability to lift up to 56 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
ability to stand and walk long periods in varying temperatures
ability to climb stairs and ladders
availability to work during university closures and inclement weather
nights and weekends as required
hepatitis A vaccine required

Job Qualifications

minimum 12 months experience in shipping and receiving
ability to perform basic math functions
basic computer skills including word processing and navigating spreadsheets
valid Oklahoma driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days
forklift operator license or ability to obtain within 30 days
good teamwork and communication skills
ability to understand and apply written instructions
physical ability to lift and move heavy items
pass Post Offer Employment Test (POET)

Job Duties

Manage shipping and receiving operations for the restaurant
maintain accurate inventory and par levels in storage and production areas
store and rotate food products using First In First Out methods
unload pallets and deliver supplies using university vehicles
maintain clean, organized storerooms and walk-in units
work collaboratively with vendors and service providers
adhere to safety standards and complete assigned duties in an active kitchen environment
