The role of Senior Restaurant General Manager at MGM Springfield is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the operations of a high-profile restaurant within this dynamic resort environment. This senior management role requires a seasoned professional with 4-5+ years of experience managing multiple departments in busy dining settings, including both high-volume casual venues and sophisticated fine-dining establishments. The Senior Restaurant General Manager leads all aspects of the restaurant’s daily operations, from labor management and inventory control to guest service standards and marketing execution, ensuring the venue delivers an outstanding guest experience that aligns with MGM Resorts’ high standards.

As a leader, the Senior Restaurant General Manager collaborates closely with the Executive Chef to co-own the restaurant’s business plan, playing a pivotal role in driving both operational and financial performance. The position demands a strategic thinker who can inspire and develop management teams, enforce policies and procedures, encourage employee engagement, and maintain the highest levels of health and sanitation. Compensation for this position ranges from $60,200 to $80,300, reflective of the candidate’s experience and expertise. This role is eligible for participation in the company’s incentive plan and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and paid time off, subject to eligibility criteria. Job Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of management experience in restaurant or hospitality

Job Duties

  • Owns, leads and oversees daily restaurant operations, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution and development of marketing strategies
  • Co-owns the restaurant's business plan with Executive Chef and represents the restaurant in meetings
  • Responsible for execution of policies, procedures, pricing, training, menus, rules, and regulations
  • Maintains the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness
  • Manages human resources including promoting teamwork, coaching, training, hiring, and compliance
  • Frequently interacts with guests to ensure satisfaction and addresses complaints
  • Collaborates with Executive Chef to ensure seamless service between kitchen and dining room
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of food and beverage products and equipment
