Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an industrial powered truck primarily sit-down forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Preferred experience of minimum 2 years operating production equipment in a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to forklift operations and other production equipment
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and equipment monitoring
- Ability to learn SAP and Visitrak systems to support product movement and tracking

Job Duties
- Operate and monitor production and bulk ingredients equipment to ensure products meet safety, production, and quality standards
- Perform routine equipment checks including cleaning and workspace housekeeping to maintain peak efficiency
- Complete Master Sanitation Schedule and troubleshoot ingredient transfer equipment to reduce downtime, escalating repairs as needed
- Follow safety guidelines including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Monitor bulk ingredients unloading, ensuring correct routing to storage vessels
- Maintain accurate records for deliveries, ingredient transfers, and quality control, ensuring certificate of analysis documentation matches deliveries
- Communicate supply alignment with production schedule and participate in training to enhance equipment knowledge
- Fill and empty kitchen oil tanks, load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior unloading areas
- Safely operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport raw materials and finished products
- Keep accurate inventory records and update computer systems with material movement
- Properly tag finished goods and move them to warehouse staging areas
- Adhere to SQF and GMP requirements for accurate lot tracking and record-keeping
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by plant management
