The Sr Manager, Loyalty position based in Miami, FL, is a pivotal role within Subway’s marketing and operations framework, focused on managing the North American loyalty portfolio. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deepen customer engagement and drive meaningful business outcomes. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Loyalty and Gift Cards, the Sr Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational administration and marketing planning of the tiered loyalty program. The role demands a customer-centric approach and the ability to lead complex projects that promote franchisee profitability and enhance the brand’s connection with its members and guests. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring smooth program operations, budget management, and the development and implementation of tailored marketing initiatives including email, push notifications, SMS, and app-based campaigns. Additionally, the role involves analyzing key performance metrics to recommend program improvements, collaborating with internal teams such as Operations, Training, and Guest Care, and managing vendor relationships and contracts to propel business growth. The Sr Manager, Loyalty will also contribute to strategic aspects such as loyalty campaign integration into the broader marketing calendar and prevention of fraudulent activities within the program. Offering a competitive salary range between $105,000 and $131,400 annually, this position is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer loyalty, critical thinking skills, and a track record of managing large-scale projects in a franchise or restaurant environment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five years of relevant marketing and operations experience
  • Experience managing nationally scaled loyalty programs
  • Preferred experience in restaurant and franchise settings
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Five years or more of experience in marketing and operations for nationally scaled loyalty programs
  • Prior experience in restaurant and franchise environments preferred
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional projects
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially in crisis situations
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills to work with diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Manage the front-line day-to-day operations of the tiered loyalty program working closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure functionality
  • Submit invoices and manage the loyalty budget to ensure alignment with approved spending
  • Engage frequently with Operations, Training, and Guest Care teams to provide support and communication on program activities impacting daily business
  • Lead and project manage new initiatives to ensure timely, on budget, and within scope delivery
  • Facilitate and coordinate teams to address system issues impacting program performance and implement preventative measures
  • Develop and implement marketing communications, campaigns, and promotional strategies including email, push, SMS, and app-based initiatives
  • Analyze key program metrics and performance data to make recommendations for improvements
  • Build executive summaries and performance reviews to communicate program insights
  • Support loyalty strategy by driving acquisition and engagement efforts including campaign development and franchisee adoption
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships, conduct capability assessments, and maximize partnerships for business growth
  • Integrate loyalty campaigns into the marketing calendar, validate and optimize campaigns through test and learn methods
  • Monitor program trends related to suspicious or fraudulent activities and take action as needed
