- 1-3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

Job Duties
- Lead end-to-end event management in a player-coach capacity
- Oversee workload allocation and establish team best practices
- Ensure events reflect Northwestern Mutual's brand, hospitality standards, compliance, and event governance
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to establish event objectives and KPIs
- Guide team in building data-driven event strategies and measuring impact
- Present planning improvements and post-event recommendations
- Partner with production and creative services to develop experiential event elements
- Lead adherence to risk mitigation, safety, sustainability, and ADA standards
- Manage budget forecasting, resource allocation, and spend optimization
- Lead hotel RFP process and contract negotiations with sourcing and procurement
- Support senior leadership events including offsite events
- Suggest user experience improvements for Cvent and project management tools
- Manage vendor ecosystem and master services agreements
- Develop risk assessment matrix and mitigation plans for events
