Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology, Management or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Experience planning and managing catering events
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Develops high culinary standards for retail, board meals, dining and catering operations
  • Trains, develops and provides inspirational leadership to local culinary team
  • Leads corporate social responsibility, food seasonality, health/wellness and culinary arts initiatives
  • Analyzes ongoing performance and trends and implements improvements
  • Explains daily menu items accurately to customers
  • Manages catering events from a culinary perspective
  • Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
