The role of Senior Executive Chef of Patient Dining at Mayo Clinic Phoenix represents an exciting and influential opportunity within Morrison Healthcare. The Executive Chef will be responsible for developing and maintaining superior culinary standards across retail operations, board meals, dining, and catering services. It requires comprehensive knowledge of menu development and the ability to communicate effectively about menu items to customers, ensuring an excellent patient dining experience.
Preferred candidates will hold a culinary degree or a bachelor’s degree in Food Services Technology, Management, or a related field, alongside at least five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience. Experience managing catering events from a culinary perspective and a strong leadership background are highly valued. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation. Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications is essential. Certification such as ServSafe further underscores a candidate’s qualifications.
