Job Description
Amazon is a leading global technology company renowned for its commitment to innovation and customer-centric approach. With diverse business segments ranging from e-commerce and cloud computing to artificial intelligence and digital streaming, Amazon continuously pushes the boundaries of technology to deliver exceptional experiences for millions of customers worldwide. A significant part of Amazon's ecosystem is its Selling Partner Communities, a network designed to support millions of sellers by fostering trust, collaboration, and growth opportunities. These communities serve as a vibrant hub where sellers can connect with peers, experts, and Amazon to share insights, challenges, and ambitions, thereby driving mutual success and innovation.
The Selling Partner Communities team envisions becoming the world's most trusted and vibrant seller community by 2026. This vision is driven by three core objectives: building authentic communities that connect sellers with peers and experts; revolutionizing communications through AI-powered personalized experiences delivering relevant content at the right time; and implementing a feedback-to-action system that demonstrates how the seller voice influences Amazon's evolution as a trusted partner. Within this dynamic team, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager role is a critical leadership position focused on spearheading event marketing initiatives. This includes ownership of Amazon's annual flagship conference, Accelerate, and other significant summits such as the New Seller Summit and Seller Growth Summit.
The Sr. Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive in-person attendance and virtual engagement for these key events. This role demands a strategic thinker who can also manage meticulous execution, from crafting tailored messaging and segmentation strategies to optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns. The candidate will focus on driving registration, audience targeting, and engagement efforts while collaborating with internal stakeholders including the Events team, product, technology, PR, Public Policy, and partner teams. By leading testing initiatives, data analysis, and continuous optimization, this role ensures impactful promotion that enhances the seller community's growth and connection.
Moreover, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager operates in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, taking ownership of building new marketing frameworks and processes for emerging events. Strong communication skills and business judgment are essential for presenting strategies and results to senior leadership and fostering a collaborative culture. The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth of Amazon's Selling Partner Communities through innovative event marketing campaigns that build a strong, engaged community year-round.
Amazon values an inclusive culture dedicated to career growth, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the team. The role is based in various locations including San Diego, Arlington, and Seattle, with a competitive salary range between $142,800 and $193,200 annually plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. This position offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ideal for marketing professionals with a passion for community building, data-driven decision making, and digital marketing innovations, including leveraging AI technologies to enhance efficiency and impact.
