With a heritage spanning over 50 years, M&IW operates as a trusted leader in the meetings and incentives industry, combining innovation with a customer-centric approach that places quality, agility, and flexibility at the heart of all its services. As a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), M&IW maintains a commitment to excellence across all facets of event management, from initial planning and logistics to on-site coordination and post-event analytics. Headquartered in Wisconsin, USA, and supported by a remote workforce across the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and Brazil, the company provides a comprehensive suite of event management services designed to optimize client return on investment and maximize engagement and impact.
The Sr. Event Experience Manager role at M&IW is a critical leadership position focused on the tactical execution and operational excellence of diverse event programs aligned with client objectives. This role serves as the main point of contact for clients, collaborating closely to understand their program goals and delivering superior event outcomes that elevate their brand and meet financial targets. The responsibilities stretch across managing multi-format events including virtual, hybrid, and in-person meetings, requiring strong project management, financial acumen, vendor coordination, and strategic marketing expertise.
In this position, the Sr. Event Experience Manager is entrusted with the end-to-end delivery of complex projects often operating on tight schedules. You will mentor associates new to the company or those being promoted in operational roles, ensuring the entire team meets the high standards set by M&IW. This role demands proficiency with event management software such as Cvent, coordinating with procurement, production, and travel departments, and liaising with both internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and vendors. Managing the logistics from securing venues and negotiating contracts to orchestrating event flow, speaker logistics, and onsite emergency preparedness plans is essential.
Additionally, the Sr. Event Experience Manager will take on key marketing and sales functions by partnering with the M&IW FLOW division to enhance event promotion, sponsorship recruitment, and creative design across digital and physical platforms. Financial management is a core aspect, including budgeting, invoice reconciliation, and cash flow oversight, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strategic planning. The role also demands an ability to foster vendor relationships to ensure high-quality services at cost-effective rates.
This position offers a dynamic and influential opportunity to deliver world-class events within a supportive environment that values cultural excellence and emotional intelligence. The role requires travel approximately 35% of the time both domestically and internationally and offers a competitive salary with comprehensive health benefits. Overall, the Sr. Event Experience Manager at M&IW is an integral part of an entrepreneurial organization committed to innovation and quality in the global event management industry.
