Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience
- Strong understanding of the lockout/tagout hazardous energy control procedures preferred
- Safety certifications (i.e., ASP, CSP, CHST) preferred
- Established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems
- Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval
- Ability to explain detailed and complicated information clearly and concisely within the team
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook
Job Qualifications

- Experience supporting health, safety, and environmental programs
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout hazardous energy control procedures preferred
- Safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CHST preferred
- Knowledge of work routines and standards in applying skills across various processes, procedures, and systems
- Intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions independently
- Strong communication skills to convey detailed, complicated information clearly within the team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Job Duties
- Provide support for monitoring high-risk injury, illness, and incident-related performance
- HECP documentation database management including routine review and update of the assessments
- Support with permit to work and lockout/tag-outs
- Development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance results
- File and maintain permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance
- Review inspection records and investigate called out complaints and suspected violations
- Inform the management team, clients, and employees of complex control regulations and inspection findings and make recommendations on how violations can be corrected
- Support the implementation of cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
- Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval
- Evaluate and select solutions from established options
- Impact the team through the quality of the services or information provided
- Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and mentorship
