Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience
  • Strong understanding of the lockout/tagout hazardous energy control procedures preferred
  • Safety certifications (i.e., ASP, CSP, CHST) preferred
  • Established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems
  • Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval
  • Ability to explain detailed and complicated information clearly and concisely within the team
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting health, safety, and environmental programs
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout hazardous energy control procedures preferred
  • Safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CHST preferred
  • Knowledge of work routines and standards in applying skills across various processes, procedures, and systems
  • Intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions independently
  • Strong communication skills to convey detailed, complicated information clearly within the team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Provide support for monitoring high-risk injury, illness, and incident-related performance
  • HECP documentation database management including routine review and update of the assessments
  • Support with permit to work and lockout/tag-outs
  • Development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance results
  • File and maintain permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance
  • Review inspection records and investigate called out complaints and suspected violations
  • Inform the management team, clients, and employees of complex control regulations and inspection findings and make recommendations on how violations can be corrected
  • Support the implementation of cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
  • Recognize and solve typical and atypical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval
  • Evaluate and select solutions from established options
  • Impact the team through the quality of the services or information provided
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices and receive regular but moderate supervision and mentorship
