The Sr. Director of Global Pricing plays a critical leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing MoneyGram’s comprehensive pricing strategy across its global omnichannel remittance services and emerging products, including cryptocurrency solutions. Reporting directly to the EVP of Growth and Partnerships, this position is central to MoneyGram’s commercial success, tasked with balancing revenue growth, contribution margins, and delivering exceptional customer value on a global scale. The role requires a seasoned pricing expert to own the pricing P&L, set enterprise-wide pricing strategies, and implement pricing models that drive profitability while safeguarding brand trust and customer retention. The Sr. Director will employ data-driven methodologies, overseeing pricing economics, FX spreads, fee structures, elasticity analyses, and corridor-specific performance metrics. Through advanced experimentation and robust forecasting, this leader will ensure pricing strategies are aligned with both market trends and internal growth objectives. This high-impact position also demands collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Treasury, to create integrated pricing solutions that support ambitious business goals. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, preferably in fintech or payments industry
- proven leadership experience managing pricing teams and driving commercial outcomes
- strong proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and pricing software tools
- experience in managing P&L responsibilities in a global context

Job Duties
- Own global pricing as a true P&L accountable for revenue, contribution margin, take rate, and profitability across corridors, channels, and customer segments
- Define enterprise-wide pricing strategy aligning business objectives with market dynamics and competitive positioning
- Set pricing objectives and guardrails balancing short-term performance with long-term customer value and brand trust
- Oversee development and application of pricing models including FX spreads, fees, corridor economics, elasticity, and competitive benchmarking
- Lead pricing experimentation including A/B testing, pilots, cohort-based pricing, and lifecycle offers to optimize performance
- Translate economic shifts into actionable pricing strategies that drive measurable financial outcomes
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tracking pricing performance, revenue quality, margin stability, and customer behavior
- Partner with Finance and Analytics to forecast pricing impacts, quantify trade-offs, and support business planning and investment decisions
- Ensure leadership visibility into pricing drivers, risks, and opportunities across the global portfolio
- Act as pricing thought leader and executive partner across Business, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Compliance
- Build relationships with Treasury to manage FX rate inputs to pricing system
- Influence senior stakeholders through data-backed recommendations and structured decision frameworks
- Build and develop high-performing pricing talent fostering a culture treating pricing as a core general management discipline
