Job Description
Legrand is a renowned global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures, dedicated to improving life by transforming the spaces where people live, work, and meet. With a focus on creating solutions that are simple, innovative, and sustainable, Legrand operates in diverse markets including residential, commercial, and data center environments. Recently, Legrand acquired Kratos Industries, expanding its footprint in the growing Data Center market and reinforcing its commitment to advanced engineered-to-order solutions, particularly in low- and medium-voltage switchgear. This strategic acquisition marks a significant investment in cutting-edge technology such as the Accelsius Two-Phase Liquid Cooling technology, positioning Legrand as a leader in the industry and enabling the company to offer transformative infrastructure solutions to its clients globally.
Legrand's Kratos business is currently seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Sr. Director of Operations to lead and oversee end-to-end operational performance across its manufacturing and supply chain operations. This senior leadership role is vital to supporting a rapidly scaling engineered-to-order business model that demands precision, efficiency, and exceptional quality. The Sr. Director of Operations will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and Product to enhance operational capabilities and ensure delivery is predictable and of the highest quality. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong operational focus, capable of translating enterprise strategies into clear and executable operational plans.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with leading operational performance across supply chain and logistics, fabrication, assembly, and quality assurance. They will develop and implement long-term manufacturing and supply chain strategies that foster continuous improvement in flow, throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Integral to this role is the ability to build and sustain a resilient and diverse supplier network that supports material availability and optimized inventory management with attention to material flow and working capital. The Sr. Director will also ensure that environmental, health, and safety protocols are upheld to the highest standards across all facilities.
Leadership of quality systems is a crucial responsibility, including support for ISO 9001 certification and a focus on strengthening quality practices that improve first-pass yield. The position offers a unique opportunity to build, develop, and empower a high-performing operations leadership team that embraces data-driven decision-making and ERP tools for enhanced operational efficiency. Representing Operations in executive leadership discussions and cross-functional planning further underscores the importance of this influential role.
With a competitive salary range of $190,000 to $205,000 annually, accompanied by comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, high 401(k) match, paid time off, holiday pay, and parental leave superior to industry standards, this role offers an exceptional career opportunity. Moreover, Legrand supports a culture of inclusion, flexibility, and growth, reinforced by a vibrant network of Employee Resource Groups focused on fostering diversity and belonging.
