Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • two years cashiering experience in a high-volume retail or hospitality business
  • must obtain Texas Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of employment
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to work onsite at various dining venues
  • compliance with security and infrastructure integrity policies
  • ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • two years of high-volume cashiering experience in retail or hospitality
  • current Texas Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to operate POS systems
  • supervisory or training experience preferred
  • knowledge of cash handling procedures
  • ability to maintain professionalism and effective communication

Job Duties

  • Verify assigned bank and set up register
  • perform cash handling transactions according to guidelines
  • check out customers accurately including ID verification and item examination
  • provide error-free register tallies and issue receipts and change
  • prepare and verify daily sales totals and deposits
  • exhibit excellent guest relations and provide customer assistance
  • train new cashiers and monitor their workstations
  • update POS systems and menus
  • ensure timely opening of venues on weekends
  • print and monitor daily sales reports
  • maintain inventory and replenish supplies
  • place daily unit orders as directed
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
