Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two years cashiering experience in a high-volume retail or hospitality business
- must obtain Texas Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of employment
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- ability to work onsite at various dining venues
- compliance with security and infrastructure integrity policies
- ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- two years of high-volume cashiering experience in retail or hospitality
- current Texas Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate POS systems
- supervisory or training experience preferred
- knowledge of cash handling procedures
- ability to maintain professionalism and effective communication
Job Duties
- Verify assigned bank and set up register
- perform cash handling transactions according to guidelines
- check out customers accurately including ID verification and item examination
- provide error-free register tallies and issue receipts and change
- prepare and verify daily sales totals and deposits
- exhibit excellent guest relations and provide customer assistance
- train new cashiers and monitor their workstations
- update POS systems and menus
- ensure timely opening of venues on weekends
- print and monitor daily sales reports
- maintain inventory and replenish supplies
- place daily unit orders as directed
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
