The Housekeeping Supervisor role at SpringHill Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are achieved and maintained. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, the Supervisor will lead a team including housekeepers, housekeeping aides, and public space attendants, by providing training, guidance, and support to uphold brand standards and exceed guest expectations. This hands-on supervisory role involves conducting thorough inspections of VIP rooms, guest rooms, and public corridors to guarantee immaculate presentation and readiness. The Housekeeping Supervisor is expected to foster a culture of accountability and safety among the staff, ensuring all work areas, carts, and supply closets are clean, organized, and adequately stocked. Coordination with the laundry department to meet hotel linen needs and managing inventory controls are also key components of the role.
