Job Description

SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs South is a newly renovated hotel located in the heart of Colorado Springs, offering a blend of modern comfort and convenience for travelers. This hotel is part of a global portfolio of over 800 hotels managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, a leader in the hospitality industry known for its commitment to diversity, employee development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. SpringHill Suites is designed with thoughtful amenities such as spacious suites with Marriott bedding, dedicated workspaces, sofa beds, complimentary breakfast, an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and proximity to key attractions like Garden of the Gods, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and popular local dining venues. Its location less than 10 minutes from Colorado Springs Airport makes it a preferred choice for both leisure and business travelers seeking comfortable accommodation and excellent customer service.

The role of Sales Manager at SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs South is pivotal to the hotel's success and growth. This position focuses on driving revenue by securing new accounts, fostering long-term relationships with clients, and enhancing the hotel’s presence across leisure, group, business, and SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) market segments. As a Sales Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales, actively engage with potential and existing clients through solicitation calls, sales tours, and personalized service to ensure the hotel remains a top choice for guests and groups. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented mindset, backed by strong communication and negotiation skills to meet ambitious sales and revenue targets.

The Sales Manager position is classified as an overtime eligible manager (OEM), meaning overtime work may be required and compensated appropriately. This role demands a balance of strategic planning with hands-on client engagement, market trend analysis, and community involvement to maintain and grow the hotel’s competitive advantage. You will also serve as a community representative, maintaining visibility in local and industry organizations, and ensuring hotel compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality's standards and policies.

Employees in this role benefit from a comprehensive package after an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; short-term and long-term disability income coverage; term life and AD&D insurance; paid time off; employee assistance programs; and a 401k retirement plan. Unique perks such as daily pay options and access to professional growth through online training, management apprenticeships, and leadership development programs further enhance the value of joining this team.

SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs South prides itself on its collaborative culture, where teamwork and shared goals drive daily operations. The hotel’s environment encourages continuous improvement, recognition of employee achievements, and a people-first approach, making the Sales Manager role not just a position but an opportunity to grow and make a meaningful impact within a respected hospitality company. If you are motivated by challenges, enjoy building relationships, and want to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, this is the perfect role for you. Join SpringHill Suites and contribute to crafting unforgettable guest experiences in one of Colorado’s most vibrant destinations.
