Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years progressive experience in hotel management or related field
- Valid state driver’s license
- Proficiency in Windows and company software
- Ability to lead and direct full-time associates
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Availability for onsite property visits and travel as required
- Commitment to company standards and guest service
- Ability to analyze financial reports and generate forecast
- Willingness to complete corporate training modules
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Physical ability to tour properties and conduct inspections.
Job Qualifications
- At least 6 years progressive experience in hotel or related field
- or 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years related experience
- or 2-year degree with 5 to 6 years related experience
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Valid driver’s license for applicable state
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills for effective communication
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well under stress and maintain composure
- Effective at handling workplace problems and anticipating solutions
- Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Comfort with financial information and basic arithmetic.
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including compliance with company dress code
- Comply with and ensure adherence to company standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations
- Comply with certification requirements such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid
- Support sales efforts by ensuring daily account review meetings and assist with sales calls and client interactions
- Assist in creating and implementing the hotel annual budget and monitor financial performance
- Conduct regular property tours and adjustments with department heads
- Lead weekly staff meetings and training sessions
- Hold monthly financial reviews and conference calls with hotel management
- Enforce company policies and train new managers for compliance
- Drive service standard training and foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction
- Complete consistent property visits including room inspections
- Ensure timely submission of financial and operational reports
- Oversee physical property maintenance and cleanliness
- Motivate and manage staff performance and compliance with company standards
- Participate actively in credit meetings and audit processes
- Conduct sales client meetings on the property and engage guests in public areas
- Maintain secure handling of hotel safe and implement monthly audits
- Complete required corporate training modules and become certified trainer
- Ensure all scheduled meetings occur as planned on property.
