This dynamic company is currently seeking an Account Manager for its Sports Golf team based out of Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on contributing to all aspects of sports consulting programs and event execution for clients within CAA’s prestigious Golf division. This division specializes in leveraging the influence of golf to bolster sponsorship and brand activation efforts primarily through events, VIP hospitality, athlete and media relationships. The Account Manager will support CAA Account Directors across multiple major sponsorship accounts in sports and entertainment, acting as the day-to-day client contact and coordinating cross-functionally with internal teams, external vendors, and property partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in research and analytics and possess the skill set to assist with planning and executing VIP hospitality programs.

Responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of diverse events such as national events, sports and entertainment gatherings, and high-touch executive activations, with an emphasis on tentpole moments. The role requires consistent client interaction both during daily operations and onsite event execution, enhancing the end-to-end client experience by ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery at all attendee touch points. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for pre-planning, project management, vendor selection, and preparation of communication documents including agendas, status updates, project plans, event overviews, and recaps. This position demands excellent organizational skills through creating and managing workback schedules, staff guides, and event run-of-show documents, along with facilitating creative approvals, budget oversight, vendor negotiations, and multiple administrative tasks. On-site event logistics management—including registration, venue and vendor coordination, guest gifting, and various logistics—is a critical aspect of this role. Travel is frequent and may occur during nights and weekends; flexibility with early mornings and late nights is expected.

This full-time position offers an annual base salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 with eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonuses. Salary considerations may vary depending on relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in brand consulting, event planning, or hospitality marketing
  • General understanding of sports and entertainment industry and sponsorships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
  • Experience working in the golf industry
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to travel frequently including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work early mornings and late nights as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience in brand consulting, event planning, and/or hospitality marketing
  • General understanding of the sports and entertainment industry and sponsorships
  • Adaptable with ability to pivot and take on new tasks quickly
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects with ease, manage deadlines, coordinate key timelines and perform under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Proactive and solutions oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
  • Experience working in the golf industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or Marketing preferred

Job Duties

  • Support planning and execution of a wide range of events including national, sports, and entertainment-based, high-touch executive events, primarily focused on tentpole moment activation
  • Interact with clients day-to-day and on-site during event execution
  • Continually improve the end-to-end client experience, ensuring that all attendee touch points across the event life cycle are delivered with the highest level of quality and consistency
  • Support pre-planning, project management, and implementation for events including vendor vetting and selection, requisite event activation plans, and supporting communication documents
  • Create and adhere to workback schedules, staff guides, event run of shows, and other tracking spreadsheets to provide timely account support and execution
  • Facilitate creative approval process including renderings, signage, POS
  • Support overall budgeting and accounting, vendor negotiations and agreements, expenses, shipping, and other administrative duties to support the team
  • On-site event logistics management and execution including managing registration, overseeing venue and vendor setup, guest gifting operations, and event logistics
  • Travel frequently throughout the year, including nights and weekends to attend events, meetings, perform site visits, etc
  • Ability to work early mornings and late nights as needed
