Job Description
Delaware North Gaming is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic full-time and part-time Servers to join their team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Delaware North is a globally recognized hospitality and food service company with over 100 years of history, known for creating memorable experiences in iconic locations such as sports arenas, national parks, casinos, and hotels. Southland Casino Hotel, a premier entertainment destination owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, roulette tables, simulcast wagering, a sportsbook, and a newly built hotel with 300 luxurious rooms and suites. This Server position plays a crucial role in delivering first-class service to guests by representing the restaurant’s brand and ensuring customer satisfaction. Servers at Southland Casino will engage directly with guests by taking orders, answering questions about menu selections, serving food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks responsibly, and processing payments efficiently. Working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, team members will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to provide smooth and timely service. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining clean and organized workspaces. The position is tipped, with an hourly minimum pay of $10.00, exclusive of potential tip earnings.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as standing, walking, bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs
- Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
- At least one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment required
- Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment preferred
- No high school diploma or GED required
Job Duties
- Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
- Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen and bar staff
- Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning
