Job Description

Kessler Hotels, part of Kessler Hospitality, is renowned for its portfolio of artistically inspired boutique hotels. These properties feature unique design elements, luxurious accommodations, enriching ambiance, and intuitive guest service. Spanning various states including Alabama, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, each Kessler property is distinctively crafted to incorporate exquisite art, music, and cultural influences, all aimed at offering approachable yet refined experiences for guests. The hotels embody redefined Bohemian luxury, ranging from trendy downtown icons to premier luxury lodges, entertainment destinations, and elite ski lodges. Notably, Kessler Hospitality was a founding member of the Marriott Autograph Collection and introduced seven original Autograph Collection branded hotels. Each hotel is designed with style and individuality, targeting travelers who seek bold and original accommodations that stand out from typical luxury chains.

One of the flagship locations is the Grand Bohemian Lodge situated in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Nestled on the falls of the Reedy River, this AAA Four Diamond boutique lodge offers guests an intimate connection to the area's natural beauty and cultural vibrancy. With stunning floor-to-ceiling windows and earth-inspired décor integrated from the chandeliers to the wine room, the lodge provides a sensory-rich environment designed to inspire and rejuvenate. Guests can enjoy beautiful balconies, majestic accents throughout the property, an outdoor bar and restaurant named Between the Trees overlooking the Reedy River, as well as an art gallery, spa, fitness center, and scenic hiking trails on the grounds.

The role of Beverage Manager at the Grand Bohemian Lodge is a full-time position with yearly compensation. This leadership role is responsible for managing the Food & Beverage Division, focusing heavily on the Restaurant and Bar operations. The Beverage Manager's primary responsibility is to provide strategic and operational management to ensure a seamless integration of beverage functions while maximizing guest satisfaction and profitability. They oversee budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, staff scheduling, and quality assurance for all beverage outlets within the hotel. Strong collaboration with the kitchen, restaurant, and catering sales departments is essential to maintain consistent service standards and to capitalize on business opportunities.

Responsibilities for this position include supervising daily operations of F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with all policies and control systems, estimating consumption needs for procurement, and maintaining high standards of beverage quality and innovation. The Beverage Manager also plays a pivotal role in creating specialty cocktails and promotional plans designed to attract new business and foster community engagement through hosting local events and charity initiatives. Another critical aspect of the role is guest hospitality, requiring the manager to exemplify superior customer service skills, handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, and create a positive atmosphere for both guests and the staff team.

Operational duties involve participating in budgeting processes, reviewing guest satisfaction data, conducting regular departmental meetings, maintaining health and cleanliness standards, completing monthly beverage inventories, and controlling payroll and expenses. Communication and leadership within daily pre-shift meetings with staff, known here as Grand Performers, ensure smooth and coordinated operations aligned with hotel-wide objectives. This role requires a committed, hands-on leader who can balance administrative duties with active engagement on the floor to drive both revenue and guest satisfaction.
