The Barback role at Kessler Hospitality plays an essential part in maintaining the bar’s high standards of cleanliness and stock, helping deliver a best-in-class guest experience. This hourly position is responsible for supporting bar staff by ensuring smooth and efficient service flow through organization and timely stocking tasks. The barback will perform duties such as managing requisitions, stocking beverages and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and alcohol beverage control policies. The role also requires a friendly and professional attitude to assist guests and support the overall bar operations. Evening shift availability is necessary, as is the ability to communicate effectively and deal patiently with guests. One year of previous experience in a similar role

Job Duties

Request, pick, verify and put away all requisitions for liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks and food items used for the bar areas
Stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments
Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar
Ensure that all side opening and closing duties are completed
Adopt a positive approach in dealing with guests problems and issues to ensure guest satisfaction
Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to ensure compliance with regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Attend to customer needs with a friendly and professional attitude
Operate and maintain bar equipment and tools
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
