Job Requirements

  • Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience
  • Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

  • Current BLS certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience
  • Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with director to provide leadership and participate in fiscal, human resource, and operational functions
  • Actively participate in department and hospital strategic planning and implement new programs and services
  • Maintain effective competency and staff development programs
  • Manage day-to-day operations including processing payroll, managing expenses, conducting employee evaluations, and handling personnel issues
  • Assist in maintaining departmental staffing plans responsive to patient census needs
  • Ensure appropriate skill mix and staffing levels according to volume demands
  • Foster a positive work environment and lead by example holding staff accountable for professional behavior and attitudes
