Job Requirements
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse License or valid compact license
- Current BLS certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively pursuing with completion within 3 years of hire
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience
- Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

Job Duties
- Collaborate with director to provide leadership and participate in fiscal, human resource, and operational functions
- Actively participate in department and hospital strategic planning and implement new programs and services
- Maintain effective competency and staff development programs
- Manage day-to-day operations including processing payroll, managing expenses, conducting employee evaluations, and handling personnel issues
- Assist in maintaining departmental staffing plans responsive to patient census needs
- Ensure appropriate skill mix and staffing levels according to volume demands
- Foster a positive work environment and lead by example holding staff accountable for professional behavior and attitudes
