Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required scientific degree preferred
- Minimum two years of pre-analytical laboratory experience or comparable experience preferred
- At least one year of experience supervising direct reports
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Commitment to safety regulatory and accreditation compliance
- Ability to manage inventory and laboratory resources effectively
- Willingness to work full time Monday through Friday day shift
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree scientific degree preferred
- Two years of pre-analytical laboratory experience or comparable experience preferred
- One year supervising direct reports required
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of laboratory accreditation and regulatory standards
- Ability to optimize laboratory workflows and operational efficiencies
Job Duties
- Supervise daily pre-analytical operations ensuring accurate specimen management and timely turnaround times
- Lead and develop staff through hiring training coaching and performance management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and accreditation standards while maintaining quality procedures
- Oversee laboratory systems inventory and resources to support seamless operations
- Manage and develop staff providing effective communication leadership guidance and resources
- Establish and monitor staff and patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Utilize LEAN techniques to implement best in class processes that are robust and efficient
