The Specialty Team Member is an essential role supporting the regional Specialty vision. This position plays a key part in preparing and receiving specialty products, maintaining fresh and appealing displays, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires diligent adherence to Whole Foods Market’s Standard Operating Procedures and a commitment to health and safety regulations including food safety practices. From keeping the Specialty department clean and well-stocked to engaging customers with proactive selling and product expertise, the Specialty Team Member creates positive shopping experiences that reflect Whole Foods Market’s core values.

Whole Foods Market offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $25.40, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive Whole Benefits available to full-time and part-time Team Members. This entry-level position requires no prior retail experience but demands a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for natural foods. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on their feet for extended periods in variable temperature conditions. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be necessary.
