Job Requirements

- Minimum one year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required

- Ability to stand or walk for long periods

- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices
Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping, and storing
- Remove frozen foods to thaw in the refrigerator
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal criteria
- Prepare and cook food following recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- Monitor food quality during preparation
- Taste dishes to ensure proper cooking through sampling, smelling, or testing with utensils
- Ensure portion size, arrangement, and food decoration are adequate
- Serve food in proper portions and containers
- Use kitchen utensils safely and appropriately
- Clean and sanitize kitchen area, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Check and ensure appliance and food temperatures are correct
- Notify manager of any products not meeting specifications
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods
- Comply with all safety and company policies
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions
- Participate in trainings and obtain safety certifications
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others
- Support team goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns
- Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Lift, move, transport, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
