Job Requirements
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk areas
- Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment including 10-key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine and photocopier
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one-year experience as a Casino Cashier or general cashiering background from another casino
- Experience with business machines and prior money handling experience
- Computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work well with co-workers and as a team member
- Well-groomed appearance
Job Duties
- Operates assigned bank (marker, chip and satellite) according to procedure
- Verifies and counts down bank at the end of each shift and reconciles to the Cage accountability
- Assigns window banks to Casino Cashiers and assists in troubleshooting cashier variances or reconciliation
- Assists in training and development of cashiers in window bank or specialty bank functions
- Handles window bank coverage when scheduling needs arise
- Fosters team environment and takes a leadership role in departmental initiatives
- Presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same
