Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or experience/training
- 3 years of experience as an employee events planner, corporate meetings, strategic event planning or in an equivalent role
- Must be able to travel and work extended hours as necessary including weekends
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively and independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Polished professional presence
- Discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes

- Excellent knowledge of and hands-on experience with all aspects of event management and logistics
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and presentation skills
- Able to work collaboratively, as well as independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving strategic decisions, process changes and business initiatives
- Polished professional presence and discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects and communication priority updates to stakeholders
- Makes a positive impact on team members, maintains a positive, can-do attitude and adapts quickly to changes
Job Duties
- Manage multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines effectively, efficiently, and independently
- Take ownership of tasks or projects, offer creative solutions to potential issues, and proactively communicate next steps and timelines
- Lead small to medium size company internal/external in-person events and engagement opportunities including strategic event design, branding, all AV, F&B, accommodations and transportation
- Manage registration website, event mobile apps, invitation lists and responses, and confirmation communications
- Oversee vendor management including contract negotiations, security and budget management
- Purchase supplies as needed
- Design quarterly engagement opportunities for team members that drive culture as a competitive advantage
- Partner with key stakeholders to achieve program success and act as the key decision-maker on behalf of stakeholders
- Deliver onsite management of meetings, events and engagement opportunities
- Support and lead focus areas for enterprise and recognition events
- Supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of volunteers, onsite staff and vendors as required to successfully execute all aspects of the event
