Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age or above
  • required to obtain and maintain registration or license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission
  • high school or equivalent degree
  • general computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals
  • ability to respond to common inquiries
  • fluency in English
  • ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in group situations
  • ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
  • ability to lift or maneuver at least 30 pounds
  • ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects
  • ability to reach, climb, balance, stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
  • ability to work varying schedules including high noise environments
  • reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Follow all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards
  • actively contribute to departmental performance and maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of policies, procedures, records, and reports
  • comply with all internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls
  • deliver and maintain a maximum level of property-wide service and satisfaction
  • contribute to company-wide communication and best practices
  • keep informed of new developments within the department
  • balance multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines often in stressful and high-pressure situations
  • assist and coordinate various property marketing functions including special events and promotions along with the development of support materials
  • carry out clerical and administrative tasks to support successful events
  • assist with ongoing promotional events including Player Parties, Slot Tournaments, Table Tournaments, Floor Promotions, and handle additional tasks as identified
  • communicate expectations to involved departments, initiate event marketing collateral, and communicate necessary event logistics information to team members
  • work closely with internal departments as well as outside vendors
  • prepare notifications and submissions for regulatory compliance
  • accurately build and test promotions executed on the Promotional Kiosk
  • handle all aspects of promotions including coordination with various departments such as Purchasing, IT, Public Areas, Food and Beverage, Sound and Video, Floral, Loyalty Marketing, Casino Marketing, Warehouse, and more
  • handle guest service situations from start to finish
  • work with safety as a priority and follow department and company safety standards
  • maintain relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training
  • perform any other job-related duties as assigned
