Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- Possession of a valid Class C or standard operator driver license
- Physical capability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 100 pounds
- Compliance with all DOT driver qualifications as required for those operating Class A or B vehicles
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Valid Class C or standard operator driver license
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs
- Prior experience in delivery driving or customer service is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move freight weighing 40 to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- Safely operate a Class C truck to deliver various products to customers
- Manually unload and deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing friendly and professional service
- Follow assigned route schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all safety and DOT regulations
- Operate tractor-trailer equipment if qualified and required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary documentation
