The Parking Cashier role at ABM is a frontline position critical to supporting efficient parking operations while ensuring exceptional service to customers. This position involves handling both cash and electronic transactions for parking customers in a responsive, accurate, and courteous manner. ABM welcomes candidates with limited or no prior experience, offering comprehensive on-the-job training to empower new team members. The job is well-suited for individuals entering or returning to the workforce. Priority is given to individuals 18 years or older, with no formal education requirements, making it accessible to a broad candidate pool. The Parking Cashier is expected to greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, issue and collect parking tickets, and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety protocols. Efficient handling of payment reconciliation, transaction accuracy, and maintaining an organized work area are key aspects of the role. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Approach and greets all customers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns
  • Relay customer concerns and/or information to shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary
  • Be quick and responsive to provide excellent customer service
  • Follow all company procedures and comply with all safety regulations
  • Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets
  • Match visitor ticket to parking rate schedule and collect proper payment from visitors and distribute correct change
  • Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located
  • Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges
  • accurately account for all funds within cashier drawer
  • Perform revenue drops following specific location procedures
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Answer telephone in a prompt and courteous manner, when required
  • Immediately report accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates
