Artist Nation is recognized as one of the top artist management companies globally, representing over 250 artists. These businesses collectively support Live Nation Network, which provides leading entertainment marketing solutions, enabling upwards of 800 advertisers to reach an audience of 200 million consumers annually through live events and digital platforms.
A distinctive division of Live Nation Entertainment, HOB Entertainment, operates exceptional club venues across the nation under the renowned House of Blues brand. House of Blues venues feature a variety of live music genres including Rock, Hip Hop, Country, Rock en Espanol, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, and Pop. The venues are equally famous for their southern-style cuisine, juke-joint inspired atmosphere, and the World Famous Gospel Brunch. Since opening on Thanksgiving Day in 1992, House of Blues has maintained a strong commitment to community engagement through initiatives such as the International House of Blues Foundation.
The Food and Beverage Server role at House of Blues offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests in a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional service during dinners and special events. The position requires performing food and drink serving duties with a positive, friendly, and efficient approach, ensuring guests have memorable experiences. Responsibilities include event setup involving tablecloths, place settings, and buffet arrangements, serving food and beverages on trays, keeping guests' glasses filled, and replenishing utensils. Servers must anticipate guest needs, handle concerns or complaints professionally, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards according to company policies. The server also assists colleagues as necessary, controls atmosphere by circulating through working areas, and performs opening, running, and closing duties as per House of Blues guidelines.
This role demands an individual who thrives in high-volume restaurant operations, with the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining an upbeat and friendly demeanor. The work environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful, involving extended periods of standing and frequent movement. The physical demands require the ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds using proper techniques. The expected hourly compensation for this position ranges from $18.40 to $23.00, varying based on location, experience, and qualifications.
Live Nation Entertainment embraces diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities. Candidates must have appropriate work authorization in the U.S. without visa sponsorship requirements. This position provides an excellent platform for motivated, innovative, and hardworking individuals who are passionate about the entertainment and hospitality industry to grow within a globally recognized company.
