One of Live Nation Entertainment's notable divisions, HOB Entertainment, manages a number of premier club venues nationwide. The House of Blues venues specialize in offering exceptional live music performances across several genres including Rock, Hip Hop, Country, Rock en Español, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, and Pop. These venues also pride themselves on their southern-style cuisine, juke-joint inspired atmosphere, and hosting the distinguished World Famous Gospel Brunch. This role invites passionate, motivated individuals who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and are driven, resourceful, and forward-thinking to join the Live Nation Entertainment team. The Food and Beverage Server will play an essential role in delivering outstanding guest experiences by performing food and drink serving duties at dinners and special events. The Food and Beverage Server will be responsible for setting up events, including arranging table placements, laying out tablecloths and place settings, and organizing buffet setups. Duties involve carrying plates of food on trays to serve guests, maintaining beverage service by keeping glasses filled, and promptly removing used plates while replenishing utensils. The position requires stringent adherence to sanitation and safety standards, including performing cleaning tasks and breakdown procedures after service.

Moreover, the server must proactively anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to any questions or concerns with a gracious and positive attitude, ensuring any issues related to food or service are addressed and resolved efficiently. The role includes executing opening, running, and closing duties following House of Blues policy and maintaining a vigilant presence on the floor to ensure a controlled and inviting atmosphere. Supporting colleagues as needed and sustaining pristine cleanliness throughout the venue rounds out this dynamic role.

Working in a fast-paced, often loud, and high-pressure environment, the role requires extended periods of standing and mobility, alongside the ability to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds safely. This position offers an expected hourly compensation range from $18.40 to $23.00, commensurate with market location, skills, and experience.
