Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • valid California driver's license
  • state of California paramedic license
  • CPR card (American Heart Association only, Health Care Provider, no handwritten cards)
  • ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
  • PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
  • IS-100B (ICS 100) course
  • IS-200B (ICS 200) course
  • IS-700A (NIMS) course
  • IS-800B (NIMS) course
  • ability to pass physical agility test
  • good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition
  • ability to lift, drag, hoist, and carry different types of equipment and objects

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • deliver high quality patient care and customer service within prescribed protocols and company policies
  • complete all appropriate documentation as outlined in company policy
  • report all problems and unusual occurrences immediately to the lead paramedic or supervisor
  • maintain a professional appearance by adhering to hygiene and uniform standards
  • pass the physical agility test and meet physical stamina requirements
  • lift, drag, hoist and carry different types of equipment and objects
  • perform other duties as defined
