Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience
- two years of experience in event or community programs
- effective communication skills
- ability to work full time on day shift onsite
- proficiency in coordinating community outreach efforts
- commitment to serving diverse populations
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public health or related field preferred
- two years of experience in health-related outreach or community engagement preferred
- experience working with senior management and physicians
- demonstrated skills in event coordination
- knowledge of public health principles
- experience in community health education
- ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Job Duties
- Plan community education and awareness activities related to cancer prevention
- develop and oversee special events and cancer screening events
- collaborate with community nonprofit organizations to address cancer burden
- build and maintain community relationships to enhance engagement
- work cooperatively with marketing and Providence Foundation teams
- coordinate outreach projects and public health education initiatives
- support fundraising efforts and event promotion
