Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years of progressively responsible clerical or secretarial experience
- Valid California driver license and insurance
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable university policies
- Mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Expertise in office software and technology
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Ability to interpret policies and use discretion independently
- Ability to troubleshoot office administrative problems
- Analytical skills for operational and procedural issues
- Ability to perform business math and budget analysis
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to write and present reports effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive interpersonal situations

Job Duties
- Coordinate events for the President, Division of University Advancement, and other university offices
- Develop and mail invitations, track responses, and process vendor payments
- Research event-related background data such as performers, venues, and caterers
- Maintain budgets, process sponsorships, ticket sales, and purchase orders
- Attend events to assist with set-up, registration, and guest services
- Interact with high-level donors and maintain diversity, equity, and inclusion compliance
- Manage event data in Raiser's Edge and create event web pages
- Recruit, train, and coordinate campus volunteers for events
- Monitor campus event reservations in 25 Live and ensure safety protocols
- Support student assistants and maintain event office inventory and equipment
- Initiate purchase orders, process travel documentation, and manage event income deposits
