Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar role is preferred
- High school graduate or minimum 18 years of age
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the banquet schedule
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy trays or equipment

Job Duties
- Set up and preparation according to event specifications
- Assist in the setup and arrangement of banquet rooms
- Ensure all tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are properly organized and presentable
- Check and confirm accuracy of event details including seating arrangements and special requests
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide guidance
- Serve meals and beverages following established service standards
- Ensure proper timing and coordination between kitchen and banquet floor for smooth food delivery
- Respond promptly to guests' requests and anticipate needs
- Provide menu recommendations and assist guests in making informed choices
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas and clear tables efficiently
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and staff to provide seamless service
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and support staff to ensure supply availability and timely food delivery
- Assist colleagues during peak periods by carrying trays, refilling drinks, or clearing tables
- Ensure a warm and friendly atmosphere creating positive guest experiences
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Address guest issues aiming for satisfactory resolution
- Maintain a professional appearance adhering to grooming standards
- Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely
