This position is a full-time, seasonal, non-management role within the Golf, Fitness, and Entertainment category at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. The hourly pay is set at $17.50, positioning it as an accessible opportunity for those seeking meaningful work in a dynamic hospitality setting. The position demands excellent communication skills to respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries using clear and professional language across multiple channels, including in-person, phone, and electronic communications. As a front-line ambassador, the employee will guide guests accurately to their destinations and maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards.
A strong focus on compliance with company policies and procedures is mandatory, including reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions promptly. Maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets are key responsibilities. The role requires anticipating and meeting guests’ service needs as well as fostering positive work relationships and teamwork to achieve shared goals. Employees are expected to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts and may need to lift, carry, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds safely and without assistance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic cash handling skills
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
