The Spa Receptionist plays an integral role in the daily operations of the spa, acting as the first and last point of contact for our valued guests. This position requires an individual who is personable, polished, and professional, with a genuine passion for guest service. Working in a dynamic environment with shifts between 7:00am and 9:00pm CST on weekdays and weekends, the receptionist must be adaptable and enthusiastic, bringing energy and dedication to the role. Key responsibilities include ensuring guests enjoy a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure, efficiently managing spa appointments through ResortSuite software, and supporting retail sales by communicating product benefits to enhance guest experiences.

This role demands excellent communication and multitasking skills as the receptionist coordinates closely with treatment technicians and spa management to maintain an orderly and luxurious spa atmosphere. Responsibilities also extend to handling guest feedback and occasional complaints with diplomacy, enforcing spa policies, and contributing to the upkeep and cleanliness of the spa facility and guest amenities. The Spa Receptionist is essential to creating special moments and memorable experiences, upholding the spa’s reputation for luxury and excellence. Ideal candidates will have a warm and friendly personality combined with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting, consistently demonstrating exceptional service and professional etiquette.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or spa environment preferred
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends
  • strong computer skills, especially with booking and transaction software
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism and poise in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Consistently provide outstanding service and maintain cleanliness standards at a luxury level
  • proficiently use ResortSuite software systems to correctly process transactions, complete orders and accurately book/edit spa treatments
  • ensure accuracy of all reservations with a knowledge of spa treatments, spa policies, spa amenities and overall hotel options and ability to communicate with our guest
  • support all spa retail sales and communicate with technicians to allow our guests to experience our premium products and enhance their treatments
  • provide a seamless and accurate check out paying special attention to attaching commissions, applying discounts and package billing
  • receive guest feedback/complaints and, with supervision, resolve any guest/staff issues as they arise
  • enforce spa policies (service requirements, age restrictions, guest behavior, etc.) with supervision/support to maintain a relaxing spa atmosphere
  • support the cleanliness and maintenance of the Kohler Waters Spa guest amenities, facility and equipment
