Job Description

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort stands as a premier luxury destination nestled in the heart of Arizona, offering an unparalleled experience that combines the breathtaking beauty of the Catalina Mountain range with exceptional resort amenities. Known as a desert oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation, this resort is part of the esteemed Loews Hotels & Co portfolio, which was founded in 1960 and operates iconic hotels and resorts throughout the U.S. and Canada. Loews emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and growth opportunities for its team members, ensuring a welcoming environment where employees feel valued and empowered to achieve their career goals. As a luxury resort, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort provides guests with meticulously crafted experiences that celebrate the sensory delights of the Sonoran Desert, setting high standards for hospitality and personalized service.

The Spa Manager role at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is a key leadership position responsible for managing daily spa operations with warmth, precision, and accountability. Reporting directly to the Director of Rooms, the Spa Manager plays a vital role in delivering an elevated and memorable wellness experience that reflects the resort’s luxury branding. This role requires overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house spa teams to ensure consistent and exceptional service delivery, including managing treatment scheduling, staff coverage, and facility readiness. As a highly visible leader on the spa floor, the Spa Manager will engage in coaching and mentoring therapists, attendants, and front desk agents, resolving guest needs promptly, and maintaining high operational standards.

Beyond operational leadership, the Spa Manager collaborates closely with other hotel departments, including engineering and housekeeping, to maintain impeccable facility standards and seamlessly support special events, group bookings, and seasonal programming. Financial and labor management responsibilities include scheduling, timekeeping, payroll review, and tracking productivity to align with business goals. Additionally, the manager supports retail boutique operations by overseeing product presentation, sales coaching, and inventory management to maximize guest engagement and retail success.

This role demands a hands-on operator with a detail-oriented and collaborative approach, capable of upholding service standards and guest satisfaction while fostering a positive working environment for spa team members. The successful candidate will also ensure strict adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements, preserving the spa's reputation for excellence. With a focus on personalized wellness and memorable guest interactions, the Spa Manager is integral to the resort's mission to offer a Sonoran escape that captivates the senses and provides lasting guest memories. Loews Ventana Canyon Resort offers a comprehensive compensation package along with opportunities for career growth and development in a dynamic, inclusive workplace.
