This role operates on a Wednesday through Sunday schedule with an hourly rate of $20. The Spa Host serves as the first point of contact for guests, orienting them to the spa facilities and providing personalized attention that enhances their overall experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering phone inquiries about spa services and retail items, scheduling appointments, checking guests in and out using the spa's computer system, and handling transactions for services rendered. A key part of the Spa Host’s role is to maintain the cleanliness and organization of both the lounge and locker areas to ensure a welcoming environment.

In addition to administrative duties, the Spa Host issues essential spa items such as lockers, robes, and slippers, and escorts guests to the relaxation room, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the spa’s amenities. The position requires active promotion of spa treatments, services, and retail offerings, along with the ability to inform guests about any ongoing programs or discounts. Job Duties

  • Issue spa lockers, robes and slippers to guests and escort guests to the relaxation room
  • Provide orientation, tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering guests’ questions
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through regular monitoring of locker/facility area
  • Stock locker room supplies and amenities and keep accurate supply and inventory sheets
  • Review spa appointments regularly and promote spa treatments, services, sessions, and retail products along with promotions or discounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and keeping clean and organized work and retail display areas
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Work independently and maintain assigned post for extended periods
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
  • Attend, participate and support training and staff meetings
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
  • Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests requiring attention
  • Book and check out all spa appointments during shifts
  • Maintain full knowledge of spa menu and ability to explain each service
  • Possess full knowledge of spa computer software for POS and scheduling
  • Perform closing of spa software with reports and tickets
  • Diligently perform opening and closing tasks and follow all protocols accurately
  • Assist in flipping treatment rooms and restocking the backbar
  • Handle money accurately
  • Make confirmation calls 24 hours in advance informing guests of cancellation policy
  • Drop linen to housekeeping regularly and check on clean linen
  • Check shipment area for arriving packages
