Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • no prior experience required
  • high school graduate level mathematical aptitude
  • knowledge of standard cash handling procedures
  • knowledge of computerized cash register systems
  • ability to read written communication including computer screens
  • hand and finger dexterity to operate computer calculator and telephone keyboards
  • ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with customer service issues
  • highly organized and able to pay attention to minute details
  • able to stand for 90% of shift
  • able to perform repeated bending and kneeling
  • able to reach all areas of hotel to assist clients
  • occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • past experience in dealing directly with the public
  • general knowledge of basic customer service skills
  • ability to read written communication including computer screens
  • hand and finger dexterity to operate computer calculator and telephone keyboards
  • fluent in oral and written English
  • ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • highly organized with attention to detail
  • ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • tact and understanding when dealing with customer service issues including stressful situations

Job Duties

  • responsible for the reception area at the spa including greeting guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding appointments club information and guest concerns
  • greets and completes established check-in procedures for arriving guests daily using manual and computerized methods
  • facilitates guest departure following established point of sale procedures to close guest accounts
  • regularly calculates and posts monies receipts guest accounts and other forms of credit using accurate cash handling methods
  • courteously answers inquiries and accepts appointments by accurately communicating service rates and information and using suggestive selling techniques
  • maintains good customer relations by using guest name throughout interactions and keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions
  • maintains clear and concise communication with leadership and management regarding occurrences involving associates or guests
  • maintains accurate guest files and ensures timely and precise spa charge presentation
