The role offered here is that of a Spa Attendant, who plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within all spa operation areas. This individual is responsible for monitoring spa facilities and ensuring a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests. The Spa Attendant observes activities in assigned areas, offering assistance and developing positive guest relations, ensuring all visitors have a smooth, enjoyable experience. Reporting directly to the Spa Supervisor or Spa Management, this position requires an individual who can work efficiently in the physically demanding spa environment. The job involves working primarily in key areas such as locker rooms, relaxation zones, and the SPA pool trace, and secondarily in all spa zones. This position demands the ability to stand for extended periods, including stair climbing, lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, and working under varying temperature and noise conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
The successful candidate will closely collaborate with various internal departments such as Spa, Pool, Grounds, Food and Beverage, Rooms, Laundry, Housekeeping, and Engineering, while regularly interacting with external stakeholders like hotel guests, visitors, and spa members. Essential skills for this role include oral proficiency in English, prior guest service experience, a positive demeanor, and a strong commitment to meeting the needs of the spa, colleagues, and guests alike. Flexibility in scheduling, self-motivation, efficient work under pressure, and adherence to safety and organizational standards are crucial. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work meticulously with attention to detail, prioritize tasks effectively, think clearly during challenging situations, follow directions accurately, understand guest service requirements, maintain confidentiality, and function collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision. Fluency in a second language such as Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian is considered desirable but not mandatory.
