The Spa Concierge role at Woodhouse Spa is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the guest experience. This position is essential in being the first and last impression guests have during their visit, serving as a crucial team member who delivers service that exceeds expectations. The Spa Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing communications and appointments, supporting the spa team, and driving sales of spa services and retail products. The Spa Concierge must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and Sundays, reflecting the need to accommodate the spa’s operational hours. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership experience in a similar role or front-office operations
- Previous customer service and telephone reservations experience
- Computer proficiency
- Basic accounting skills
- Ability to stand and bend for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Availability to work weekends, some holidays, and Sundays
- High energy levels to manage guest flow throughout a full-time shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership experience in a similar role or front-office operations
- Previous customer service and telephone reservations experience
- Computer proficiency
- Familiarity with Book4Time software preferred
- Basic accounting skills for managing daily financial reports and closing duties
- Professionalism and ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor
- Sales mindset comfortable with driving company sales goals
- Proficiency in English language for communication
- Ability to collaborate with team members and managers
Job Duties
- Is a steward of the Woodhouse brand and strictly adheres to Woodhouse standards
- Serves as primary support for the spa's manager, therapists, and guests to ensure smooth operations
- Creates a memorable experience by providing a warm welcome, introducing guests to the locker room and amenities, and managing small details like favorite drinks and special occasions
- Manages guest communications, including answering incoming calls, listening to guest needs to schedule appointments, and providing expert service recommendations
- Partners with therapists to increase guest retention and retail sales by scheduling follow-up appointments during checkout
- Drives sales and awareness by educating guests on specialized products and luxury services
- Processes transactions, including collecting payments for services and managing daily closing procedures
- Navigates change management, showing the ability to pivot and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a sanitized environment, ensuring the concierge area and guest transition zones are clean, orderly, and inviting
- Ensures consistent attendance, which is required to perform the essential functions of this position
