The Spa Coordinator role at Valor Hospitality is a pivotal position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the spa within the hotel. This position requires a dynamic individual who can skillfully coordinate guest appointments, maintain spa inventory, and oversee the front desk operations to ensure seamless customer interactions. The Spa Coordinator ensures the spa environment is clean, well-organized, and welcoming, contributing to a positive guest experience. This role also involves training and supervising spa staff, managing scheduling software, preparing operational reports, and handling financial transactions accurately. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous experience in spa, salon, or hospitality environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
  • Capacity to stand for long periods
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous spa, salon, or hospitality experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SpaSoft or similar scheduling software
  • Strong professional presentation and technical ability
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a goal-oriented environment

Job Duties

  • Manage guest appointments and ensure timely and accurate communication with guests
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure that the spa is clean and well-organized at all times
  • Train and supervise spa staff as needed
  • Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer issues as needed
  • Process guest payments and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate
  • Prepare reports and manage scheduling software
  • Coordinate and schedule all spa-related activities consistent with spa policies and objectives
  • Host staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and updates
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure a cohesive hotel/spa environment
