About the Role: Mandarin Oriental, Boston is currently seeking a motivated and attentive Part-time Spa Concierge to join their Spa team. This role is critical in ensuring guests receive personalized, seamless service from the moment they arrive until their departure. The part-time Spa Concierge will be responsible for welcoming and registering spa guests, managing bookings and reservations, handling inquiries through various communication channels, assisting with retail sales, and supporting the overall delivery of luxury spa experiences.
A key mission of this role is to exceed guests’ expectations by providing efficient and courteous service that aligns with the Mandarin Oriental brand’s Legendary Quality Experiences. The ideal candidate should be passionate about wellness, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Spa and Wellness along with Spa Managers, the Spa Concierge plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to the distinctive guest journey offered by the Mandarin Oriental Spa.
Key responsibilities include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, responding promptly to guest requests, handling spa reservations and retail inquiries, processing payments in line with company standards, and supporting team cooperation across hotel departments. The Spa Concierge is also expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of all treatments and promotions, anticipate guests’ needs, and uphold the spa’s high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation.

Job Requirements
- Have a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury setting
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Maintaining a flexible schedule is required, including weekends and holidays
- Exhibit excellent communication and organization skills
- Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic operation
- Able to handle multiple tasks at one time

Job Duties
- Welcome and register spa guests upon arrival according to spa standards
- Assist guests with phone inquiries, spa reservations, retail sales, and gift certificates
- Provide quality service by responding to guest’s requests promptly, efficiently and courteously
- Deal with enquiries both in person, over the phone, text message, and via e-mail
- Address, check and register special guests' preferences recorded in the spa’s PMS
- Provide pre-arrival support for upcoming spa guests including full knowledge of all spa treatments offered and any current promotions
- Anticipate guests' needs to provide an exceptional and unique guest experience in line with MOHG standards
- Support the spa team in providing a seamless journey for all spa guests
- Review invoices and accounts according to spa and hotel policy and procedures
- Take payments and handle cash float properly as outlined in the MOHG’s standards
- Show co-operation and support to all hotel and Residences colleagues
- Stay current with developments, procedures and news through hotel communication channels
- Other duties as assigned by management
