Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • Proven experience as an executive chef or in similar culinary leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of farm-to-table sourcing and seasonal cooking
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations, budget, and vendor relationships
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
  • Ability to work full time in Charlotte, NC

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership, preferably as an executive chef
  • Strong knowledge of farm-to-table sourcing, all natural and seasonal cooking practices
  • Proven track record in menu creation, cost control, and kitchen leadership
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team
  • Passion for hospitality, sustainability, and creating memorable guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a chef-driven seasonal menu highlighting local farms, purveyors, and all-natural ingredients
  • Innovate with flavor, presentation, and technique while balancing creativity with profitability
  • Ensure consistent quality, portioning, and presentation across all menu items
  • Oversee day-to-day BOH operations, including ordering, receiving, inventory, prep and line execution
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized kitchen environment in full compliance with health and safety standards
  • Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a strong kitchen team while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability and respect
  • Lead by example in professionalism, work ethic, and culinary excellence
  • Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to ensure growth and retention
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and overall kitchen budget to achieve profitability targets
  • Build vendor relationships to ensure sustainable sourcing and cost effectiveness
  • Collaborate with FOH leadership to drive menu education, service excellence, and guest satisfaction
