The role of Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef at Tumble 22 is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all Back of House operations. This position demands a highly organized and skilled professional who can manage everything from purchasing and receiving to preparing and presenting food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. The Kitchen Manager ensures timely kitchen operations while maintaining an unwavering focus on food quality and safety. Duties extend beyond food preparation to include managing kitchen staff schedules, training, performance assessments, and inventory control, while also stepping in to support the General Manager when necessary. Job Duties

  • Help in the preparation of all food
  • Produce high-quality plates both design and taste-wise
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
  • Fill in the General Manager in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule, and assess staff’s performance
  • Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
