Job Requirements

  • Two years experience in a similar role such as Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Kitchen Manager with a minimum of five years progressive back-of-house restaurant experience
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and time management
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with OSHA and local Department of Health regulations
  • Proficient in PC applications including Outlook, Esysco and MS Excel preferred
  • Degree in Culinary Arts is a plus
  • Adherence to all company and safety policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
  • Ensure adherence to all recipe guidelines to provide consistent quality, proper presentation technique and food safety standards
  • Operate all kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • Maintain superior cleanliness and sanitization standards throughout the kitchen
  • Develop, coach, train and mentor back-of-house team members
  • Follow all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested
