The role being offered is a Sous Chef position with Compass Group at the University of Kentucky under the Compass Athletics partnership, which begins July 1, 2026. This exciting new collaboration combines foodservice, hospitality, facilities management, healthcare support, and athletics operations to enrich the experience of students, staff, patient-athletes, fans, and the broader university community. The Sous Chef will work in a high-volume kitchen environment to support culinary leadership by ensuring operational excellence and maintaining high-quality food production. Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen operations, supporting food production and menu execution, ensuring adherence to food quality and safety standards, and mentoring kitchen team members. Candidates with culinary degrees and at least two years of leadership experience in foodservice settings are preferred.
